    A vila de Ponteareas, no sur da Provincia de Pontevedra, alcanzou especial renome pola celebración da festividade de Corpus Christi, onde os veciños confeccionan para o paso da procesión do Santísimo Sacramento artísticas alfombras de flores naturais.

    Trátase dunha obra colectiva que expresa a cultura popular das xentes de Ponteareas que, ao longo dos anos, souberon conservar e promover esta celebración, recoñecida o ano 2009 como "Festa de Interese Turístico
